two teams i hated most... the spurs and malone's jazz. but i like utah's rosters today than the stockton-malone era.

for the past seasons, the spurs were very consistent... injuring a star player.

cheap shot bob was very consistent... steve nash, and david west are some of the casualties. bruce bowen is a good defender, because he has this reputation of a notorious player. check out his flying kicks, and his trademark: leaving his foot under a player, after a jumpshot, eventually causing a sprained ankle, or an acl.

the stockton-malone "hawi boys" are no match to the spurs'. lahat na ata ng alam kong daya kayang gawin ng spurs. nakakatamad na manood pag spurs ang kalaban. mapapa-"taena" ka na lang. sayang ang new orleans. sabagay the spurs are getting old... they are old! patapos na ang panahon nila. hehe sana talunin ng lakers ang spurs... pero dapat detroit will win the larry o'brien trophy hehe... detroit basketbaaaalllll!!!!!!

i am a travelling man. i am a nomad. there are places at least in the philippines i really wanted to visit. there is this certain craving i wanna satisfy in a certain place, and a culture i really wanna experience. here are my top local destinations:

1. cebu - this is the place for me. the mixed rural-urban setting, and the beaches! if you can remember, right before batibot, gma 7 had some kinda plug featuring the archipelago (parang opening ata nila kasi lupang hinirang yung song). one clip was cebu, where there's the magellan's cross. eventually, i said i wanna go there. i even tried to study cebuano just to communicate well with people. i even make friends with people from cebu. study film will be great!

2. boracay - i just wanna be on the beach. i really do.

3. masbate - when i was a kid, i saw my father's pictures during his college days. he was a local rodeo. and masbate for me is the place for pinoy cowboys. and i've been to masbate. i went there during my ocular for the philippine agenda. the coast lines are amazing! nice place.

4. baguio - my first steps in baguio was in 1990. i was in grade 2 when my family went there for a masonic activity. i loved it! my souvenir was a stuffed koala bear clip. the next tours up there were in 1997 and 1998. i wanna come back,

5. bohol - the beaches! panglaw, tarsier etc.

6. mindanao - any where in mindanao will do. even sulu! been to south cotabato. i love the food! gen san rocks! i was there a week before the pit market bombing hehe

7. galera (by land) - 2-3 hrs away from my home town. sarap ng island breeze!

8. palawan - biodiversity!

9. batanes - picturesque!

10. sierra madre - mystic.

my travel summary - oriental mindoro, batangas, pampanga, laguna, cavite, bataan, bulacan, quezon, south cotabato, mt. provice, zambales, pangasinan, masbate... 13 provinces so far... i want cebu, batanes, and sierra madre for soul searching. and boracay, palawan, bohol for refreshments.

currently into LOMO, and dreaming on a perfect vacation. on saturday, i'll get to jam right with nature. beach! i only missed my summer tradition last year. this year, i'm gonna make it happen again. fyi, i go to beaches every summer in a group or alone. and i grew up near the shores of oriental mindoro. but i dunno how to swim...

1983-1989 - my family always go to the beach for picnics, recreation, etc. i remember i was crying when tatay was playing with dayen in the shore and i was thinking baka may lumabas na whale or shark gaya ng nangyari kay daniel sa bible. na out grow ko un hehe

1995 - we were playing in the beach. funny kasi nagpapaturo kami ng back dive, o kung anumang tambling etc kasi sikat noon ang streetboys. phew!


1998 - i first finished a bottle of beer in a beach after high school graduation.

1999 - road trip galera with kapitbahay.

2000 - road trip again, and i brought ng slr then, tas na exposed ung film hehe

2001 - i went to galera before my ojt. and before our thesis team went to dulangan 2 for our thesis.

2002 - coming from south cotabato (lampari, koronadal, surallah, gensan), we went straight to galera for our nassa-cbcp outing.

2003 - i went to galera alone and slept the whole stay.

2004 - missed the allstars galera, so i went on solo flight weeks after.

2005 - galera with the allstars. popo bought me a sando.

2006 - galera with the allstars. where i was busy texting the whole stay. where galera witnessed flying cellphones etc haha!

2007 - no summer beach! damn it

2008 - this year, im not gonna let it pass. capones island april 19! sana matuloy ang bora, buzz!!! may something, i heard we are having a company outing. dunno yet, but hopefully.

for me the beach is where i got to shout out everything. maybe that's the reason why i am most of the time positive. because the playground is the beach, and i simply wash everything and let the waves carry them out elsewhere. where the sky meets earth in the horizon. where my roots came from. i love the beach...

walong beses na akong naholdap/snatch ng mga kriminal. ok lang. alam mo kung bakit nila ginawa yun. hirap ng buhay, bisyo, etc. madaling maka move on from that eh. pero pano kung isang kumpanya na pinagtrabahuhan mo ang gumawa sa iyo nito?! pagod ang pinuhunan mo, at umasa kang mababayaran ito. nagigpit ako nung pasko, walang pambigay ng regalo sa mga tao, hindi makapag outing etc. umasa sa ibang tao dahil hindi ako binigyan sweldo ko. tapos ngayon hindi ninyo bibigay backpay ko? sasabihan nyo pa akong nag negative... ewww

fyi forced resignation ang nangyari sa akin. eto ang nangyari...

1. from marketing, hr transfered me to resindential. they said i can be more useful in residential. ok fine, i thought life there will be better after leaving the urban myth, msc.
2. in residential... work is not easy! aside from the usual marketing task, i also did the design of the steamers, flyer, etc. fuck you! wala sa job description ko yun! sabi ko lang i can do photoshop, but not design! tapos ako pa magcanvass ng supplier tapos kasama pa ako mag install. tang ina nyo! ang mga pc nyo may kabagalan! click ka lang sa photoshop, mag hang pa ng 2 sec - 1min. tapos iniexpect mo frodo na matatapos ko agad ang trabaho?! wala nang point isumbat pa na nagrent pa ako ng computer sa labas matapos lang ang design!
3. processing ng papers... sa loob ng 1 week kailangan kong maplantsa ang lahat. collaterals pa lang talo na! monday, 3 days magpapapirma ng purchase request slip. canvass pa yan, production pa. sana naisip nyo na puno ang mga printing tuwing pasko! ok fine, ginawan ng paraan. nag recommend ng supplier. tapos ngayon questionin nyo pa ako kung bakit sa na supplier?! tanong nyo kaya dyan kay frodo!
4. website... this was d one i am excited when i transfered to residential. at least website management is more fun than stupid corporate kiss ass. for this, i was told to meet with the service provider. ok fine. done. then you fuckin frodo is rushing me to fill in all the sections. wala ka ngang material eh! gusto mo bang drawing ko ang mga event, na parang cartographer ako?
5. i wasn't able to meet their expectations... ok. but for me, i did my best to kiss ass and multi-task. i was ur marketing associate, not your designer. not your website manager. not your purchasing officer. not your slave.

horsehair (msc), she was a laughing material for me. she doesn't promote her staff, yet she beg her people to hold still coz she's working on it. rattles her skin off everytime big boss "mr. u.r. fired" is around. a senior marketing manager who doesn't have a marketing plan. a person addicted to chowking congee. ms. takot sa tenant and all. si manang na tambay sa metrowalk. yes you... good times.

and you frodo (mso), buti hindi kita natapakan. sayang pala. such a slave driver. this elven queen is also known as the "orocan witch." close kami nyan nun nagstart ako sa residential. then she did something to an officemate, and a friend, that served as a warning. she was pirated from other company. she's great and good, but doesn't have a heart in understanding her people. "i dub thee, my personal slave." - ohh im dead. do this, do that! i was sent to vietnam war with only a kitchen knife to protect me. curse you...
